We have a gallery wall, and I love displaying the various pictures and projects brought home from school or created at home. Friends of ours have an art frame similar to this one, so when I realized that this product was available on Amazon, I had to order it!Installation for the TKSDWBLTY Kids Art Frame is fairly straightforward. The plexiglass has film on both sides that must be removed gently prior to use. I emphasize GENTLY, because I accidentally cracked the plexiglass during this step. Fortunately, it's just near the edge and is difficult to notice. A handy tool is included to help you fold the metal prongs back (to remove and replace the plexiglass) and then to fold them toward the frame again, to hold the plexiglass in place. I appreciated this, because my fingertips do NOT like the current winter weather (dry and painful!).The mat is included and helps to frame the art piece as well as to protect the plexiglass from the prongs. It is installed on the door along with the plexiglass, in case you wondered.I am able to display an A4 (standard letter size) paper in the frame, and it can be mounted vertically (as shown) or horizontally. Included in the package are several mounting devices that can only be described as "plastic thing with pointy nails in it" and I used a strip of painter's tape to measure the distance between the mounts (on the back of the frame) so that I could attach the "plastic thing with pointy nails" to my wall for hanging. It took a few tries, but I finally managed to nail the plastic thing into the wall. They also include double-sided adhesive dots for the base of the art frame, but I did not want to risk damaging my paint. I stuck them onto the frame, but did not remove the protective cover for the wall side.I am content with this product, although I don't love their hanging mechanism and feel that a different type of hanger would have been better. That said, it looks great on my wall, and I may even order a second one so my kids won't fight over whose art is visible. (Make more art, kids! This is your motivation!)This would also make a fantastic gift for a grandparent or other person who loves your kids - just order this, enclose a special piece of art, and wrap! -What we liked - (Pros): - Made of wood and plastic. Plastic is projected on both sides and the wood frame is well padded with all 4 corners supported during shipping. - 2x internal straps hold the art in place and prevent falling. You can hold over 80-100 pieces of artwork in each frame. - Frame can be mounted horizontally and vertically, and comes with hardware for both. - Magnetic latch frame on the door works great and makes changing wall art a breeze in seconds.-What we didn't like - (Cons) - The mounting wall bracket/nails that hold the frame onto the wall can be challenging to install level/straight and the mounting stickers for the bottoms of the frame don't hold the bottom in place well. It does move around a bit when you open and close the front panel door. I found just putting another nail in the center or bottom back seemed to work best. Extra nails do not come with this set, you will need your own.- Value Level - Quality vs. Cost: - Fair Value. Quality item at a fair price for what you get. @ $10 it holds so much art and is well made.

I actually didn't get this for child's art but for an A4 piece, and I couldn't seem to find another frame. Well, for the purpose I got it for, it works just as well I think. It looks really nice with my art piece in it. I think it's easy to hang and a good quality too. In the end, I don't think it matters how you use this frame, you won't be disappointed. I would definitely recommend this frame.
