I bought this product for an under cabinet lighting project. It is built well and worked out flawlessly allowing a professional looking install. The price was fine and the item was shipped quickly, arriving in perfect condition. It cuts easily with a hacksaw and burrs are easily addressed with a file. I didn't use the supplied attachment clips but they would probably worked okay. I wanted a perfectly flat track so I riveted them in place. I would buy again.

These aluminum channels really dress up the LED strips. It gives the installation a nice, professional look. Good manufacturing tolerances ensure all parts fit well and are easy to mate together once you get the hang of it. The only drawbacks are: 1) The holes in the end cap are not really big enough to poke three wires through, so be prepared to drill them out or leave the cap off one end. 2) The channels are slightly wider than the LED strip, so it takes a bit of care to get everything on-center. But, not a big deal. Well worth the effort once you see how nice they look lit up.

I don't typically take the time to write reviews but this product deserves one and since I rely heavily on customer reviews for all my purchases, I will take the time to contribute - maybe it will help someone answer a few questions they may have or even give you another 'custom application' idea to add to your build portfolio and claim it as your own ;)I'll provide two versions of my review -"quick and dirty" and "long and boring... but insightful!"The Short Story-Very happy with this product!Quality of the Aluminum rails were much better than expected.Fit my 5050 RGBW LED light strip perfectly with a little wiggle room to spare.Plastic cover was clear/translucent.Since the aluminum rail doesn't have much depth, you can see the brightness of the LED bulbs - diffused but not 100%.Even if the plastic cover was milky white, it would still show LED spots because of distance between LED and plastic cover.Aluminum rails DO NOT come pre-drilled - they come with mounting brackets but I drilled holes in my rails to flush mount without brackets. The Long Story--I've been working on a custom design and installing LEDs under the steps and under the baseboards in the hallway. After many trial and errors trying to properly install the LEDs under my baseboard, I decided to rethink my strategy and give these rails a trial... to say the least, these were the PERFECT solution! This is a quality product. The aluminum rails has a nice durable thickness to them. These come with mounting brackets which you screw into the wall (or wherever) then snap the rails into. However, this adds about 1/8in. to the width - this option was not feasible for my use. Instead, i drilled about two to three holes into each rail and recessed the screws. Then screwed it directly to the wall.I used a 1/8in. drill bit to drill my screw hole all the way through then a 7/32in. drill bit to drill about halfway down - just enough to bevel the hole for the screw head to sit flush inside the rail. The screws provided are really cheap and strip extremely fast with even the slightest bit of resistance. Best to first drill a pilot hole - I used a 5/64in. drill bit.The LED strip I used were 5050 RGBW - the width of the rails fit the LED strip perfectly with little a wiggle room. The rail cover provided snapped on snug. The quality of these covers are also good quality and flexible.I will post pictures of the drilled holes - including a picture of before/after of the hole for with the screw recessed.Hope you found value in this review - I think I covered it everything these is to know about this product. Thanks!

Just finished installing these under shelving - the install looks very clean and they were easy to line up - good quality control. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't get the IP65 LEDs - they were only $2 more, so I said why not, but the silicone made it really hard to slide the covers with these, so I ended up pressing the covers in from the top. One lesson learned - do not force them. Pull it out of the channel and then try centering it and push back in. I fought with these for a while to get them to fit and after about six lengths, think I finally figured it out. The silicone also somewhat adheres to the cover, giving a little bit of splotchy look if you are mounting indoors. Outdoors, no issue. There's also not much room for extra wiring - I was able to fit a two wire 20 AWG cord behind the LEDS. There may have been more room, but I had to fuss with the covers so much I wouldn't want to stick any more in there. I also mounted these with Command SMALL size mounting strips - there is a little gap, but I didn't want to drill any holes in my cabinets.

This makes installing led strip lighting a dream. Nice plastic insert that smooths the individual LEDs and evens the light pattern. Easy to cut and install to the cabinets.

I followed the suggestion of another reviewer and used these to secure under-shelf lighting to great effect for my son’s desk (held by double-sided tape). We love the result. Will get some more lights to use the rest of my tracks under my kitchen cabinets.

my box came well packaged but missing the clamps to hang the channel. hit the product support site from amazon link and email and phone number is garbage. so no way to contact the company. Amazon needs to at least verify the company's info if they have links to it from amazon.i like the channels seem to be well made, just packaging was missing parts
