This is a solidly made hanging scale with thick steel hooks and rings. Works great for weighing large and awkwardly shaped items. It comes with 3 AA batteries which is nice. My only small complaint is that you need a screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Not a huge deal but would have preferred a latch or other mechanism to open the compartment so as not to have to go fetch a screwdriver.

I like this versatile weight scale! It hangs perfectly from my overhead hooks in my garage and holds all the straps or chains I use, depending on what I need to weigh. Right now, I'm trying to trim pounds off of my racing and trail bicycles and with this I've been easily checking the weight after every part swap I complete.I just use a simple strap with a metal s-hook to hang my bikes and get a much more accurate measurement than I was getting when I was holding my bike up while I stood on a scale. Doing that was cumbersome and required me to subtract my own weight from the result, which wasn't giving me consistent outputs. I'm certain it will come in handy for other things I haven't even thought of, or encountered yet, but will some day soon. Neat product and a very satisfied recommendation from me, thank you!

Is a nice scale, it goes up to 500Kg or 1100lb. It uses 3 AA batteries and the enclosure is made of aluminum. The scale goes in increments of 0.05kg, with small things, like a bottle of water (something lighter than 1kg) is accurate but because it's precision is 0.05Kg the value can be misleading. Above 1kg is pretty accurate, I didn't try with 200-500Kg but I tried with boxes of 15 to 30Kg and was giving me the right value all the time.I would recommend this scale for anyone that needs to weight heavy boxes or materials.

I needed something to weigh luggage with before we go on trips and the weights it has read have been within a pound when compared to the scales at the airport. Nice unit!

Easy to read digital scale. I tested it on a gallon of water and it showed 8.38 lbs. According to the internet a average gallon is 8.33lbs; that is within the margin of error so I gave this a five star. I will be testing it on larger things later.
