Working as a crop adjuster I find this works perfectly for weighing large round bales. I have hit a couple that exceed the 2000 lb. limit of this scale. I probably should have purchased a 3000 lb. scale. The heavy duty case of the scale is very sturdy as are the clevis and u hook on the top. I don't care for the little clasp in the clevis. It's difficult to remove from a log chain.

In reference to website comments, it was mentioned that scale could hold peak load when testing the breaking load of rope. No where in the pamphlet I received had any instructions to hold the peak load. Only after some time I was able to get the peak hold to work.

This scale works as advertised. The LCD display is could be brighter and the user interface is complicated and not the simplest to use. The feature that allows it to hold the last reading is helpful. The scale includes a vegetable peeler in the shape of an apple which is baffling.
