The scale came damaged severely. Looks like no quality inspection was done and could have been a return from previous customer. Item was returned.

great unit. I removed the handle bar and the post, so I can also use as pallet scale. Just a little small, but works great. If you decide to do this, note you will need a extension for the cord going to the digital display, not so easy to find.

Worked fine, though it was off by an unacceptable tolerance over 100#. Then, 4 months after buying it, it just stopped working. No sign of power when it is plugged in and no charge in the battery.Way to short of a life for a $300 scale!

Very poor quality control. First, they provided 4 bolts and 3 nuts. Secondly, the cable that is attached to the head was not fastened in and the nut is on the inside of the head, which I am not going to bother opening so that will remain loose. Third, the accuracy is off by 2-3 ounces. Now, I spent 3 times as much as a cheap $90 platform scale hoping to get a quality piece of merchandise. I don't mind at all paying higher prices for quality. But that is not the case here. I am extremely disappointed yet I do not have the energy to pack it back up and send it back to Amazon. I'd rather let potential buyers know that this scale is NOT WORTH THE PRICE PERIOD! The quality factor is simply way exaggerated and due to the poor cheapness of the unit you do not get what you pay for. I am HIGHLY disappointed as this was for a small business that requires accuracy in shipping and something that will last long enough to make the investment worthwhile. Any company that can't even put the right number of fasteners in their sealed pouch deserves not to get any business. To the maker of this product, you CAN do much better and I would suggest you clean up your quality control. Or charge 1/3 of your price as to meet the competition level you are providing product in. I bought strictly on reviews but I believe those probably are no quite genuine. Gave the seller an opportunity to respond and they didn't, which means they could CARE LESS. There are much better scales much more accurate for less money. Don't be fooled by the reviews. Ask someone who really bought this inferior product..
