Rebuild of a W L DAVEY WATER PUMP #2. You guys had the suction valve part, but I forgot to order the bottom pump base gasket with the flapper seal. That's coming soon. I plan on getting the pump powdered coated red. That should make it "Pop", and last for years. It's going in my cabin in Alaska next summer.

I replaced the plunger on my old pitcher pump due to the previous one broke while trying to replace the leather washer. There new plunger was the correct length and diameter. after soaking it in water for 2 hours the washer was a snug fit but went in the pump and worked great like a new pump.

so it's actually been challenging finding suitable replacement for my old water pump. This head looks like it will work but I'll have to replace the threaded rod that screws into the top. The part I'll be using from this feels like decent quality and should last a good while.
