I always dreamed of having a cookie jar on the kitchen counter! Perfect cookie jar for our family of seven. We have five children under eleven,so this is a good size for us ,with a smaller one the cookies would probably be gone in a couple hours,lol! Simple design ,thick glass ,durable but looks beautiful with fresh cookies in it. The lid is tight fitting too to lock in freshness,but my 6 yr old can still remove it. Very pleased with this piece!!

I got this because we had entered the holiday cookies season and I wanted something I could out them all in, see the different types, and not have to worry about them drying out before we them. This jar is huge and I love it. The seal is really good. It takes some yanking to get the kid off. The cookies didn't go dry, and now it's empty which I've been told is a crime and I need to remedy. I'll add it to the list. I might even consider this for other food items for storage that I want to loom at. Not cost effective for water glassing eggs, but would do the job in a pinch. I'm thinking it might be nice w a pain job, if someone was so inclined. I think I'll leave it clear and unadulterated. Will def get this to give to folks as house warming. Gifts or for folk unknown like having good aesthetic jars.

I am using this as a cookie jar. I like it beause it is heavy duty for kids and grandchildren. If you are looking for something decorative, this is not for you. It is utilitarian and very sturdy. It seals very nicely to keeep cookies frsh.

I always wanted a cookie jar in the house when I was a kid. Now, we have one for our kids. It's big and keeps treats fresh for a long time.

One of my jars have black stuff inside the glass. It looks awful and bubbles up. Very disappointed in this item.

Jars and lids look well made. Good size for storage or for soaking nuts, brining couple of pounds of canadian bacon; ... I ran the jars and lids through the dishwasher with no issues. The only problem, and the reason for the 4 stars is that it came with the white pen, but no stickers .. odd.

Love these very well made seals really great to keep things fresh. I use them for dog treats and have not had any issues
