This is a traditional-looking, cookie-jar-looking jar for dog treats.We have two black labs, and this thing empties pretty quickly. It would be good if they could make a bigger one which holds more.There is a nice rubber-silicone seal on the lid so that the jar actually seals. It does not seal airtight, but the jar will keep your cookies dry and crunchy.The bone-shaped handle is handy to get into and out of the jar.We have not attempted to wash this item in the dishwasher.

It’s perfect for keeping dog treats. It matches my kitchen and just adds to the counter top without looking cluttered. Well worth it for the low price. The one I had before that I bought at a pet boutique was three times as much; I’m glad I dropped it and broke it because I like this one much better!You can’t go wrong with this purchase, if you’re on the fence don’t hesitate to buy it! Great gift if you have someone on your list that has a pup!

I keep this in a closet with dog treats, but would place it on my counter too if needed because it's so cute. The seal is VERY tight so it does take two hands to open the top, but I like that it seals tightly because that means it will keep the treats inside fresh.
