2. DIFFERENT APPLICATION
(1) SYWUWV NPT STAINLESS STEEL GATE VALVE -- The stainless steel gate valve is widely used in the chemical, petroleum and food industries because stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and high strength properties. At the same time, because stainless steel will not be worn out by repeated use, making it widely used in the aviation and marine fields.
(2) SYWUWV NPT BRASS GATE VALVE -- Because brass has good thermal and electrical conductivity, the brass horizontal check valve is widely used in hot and cold water piping, water supply piping, and fire protection systems and so on.
(3) SYWUWV NPT BRONZE GATE VALVE -- Bronze has a high lead content, therefore, the bronze gate valve is not commonly used in potable water applications. Bronze is typically used for fluid control in low pressure manufacturing industries for steam, air, and gas. It is also used in HVAC and marine applications.

The is very similar to the one I have but its not exact and I needed it to be exact. Although I'm not able to use it for my purposes it looks to be a very well made item.

Good heavy duty brass valve, the big issue is that it is advertised as lead free and California requires that the valves be properly marked as no lead for use in a potable water system. On gate valves the certification is either in an attached label or a round label on top of stem stating “No Leadâ€. Only reason I rated this valve 3 of 5.

Looks and feels like top quality.It looks exactly like "THEWORKS" brand sold at Home Depot.Gate valves are nice for reliability and high flow.

you know how sometimes you handle a machined object and it just feels a bit cheap. Maybe its some sharp edges, maybe its burrs here or there, maybe you can't quite tell why, but for some reason it just feels cheap...ok, this is not like that. This valve looks as good as any other quality gate valve I'd pick up at the hardware store. The knob has just the right amount of tension. It takes firm pressure to turn it, but its precise and consistent tension from a good rubber bushing seal - not sloppy or grabby tension from a poorly machined gate. You know what I mean. Its a nice valve.
