The refill bags are easy to assemble, please follow the instructions for use on the description.
Easy to assemble, simply pull out a bit of film, push it through the center of the cartridge and tie a knot at the bottom. Then, open the lid and funnel of the pail, place the cartridge on top, and push the refill all the way. Simple installation can save you a lot of time.

I didn't know these existed so when my last pack ran out I threw the cartridge away and started looking for some more. I saw it was possible to just buy the bags but you need to have a cartridge to load them in. The trash was out at the curb but hadn't been picked up yet so early in the morning I went out to retrieve my cartridge. Once I had my cartridge back I ordered these bags and am now using them. They're great.

These litter refills aren’t exactly my favorite. I have been using the Breeze bags for years and I was thrilled to try these out because Breeze is just too expensive, even though it is a really good product. I think that these refills are a good product but it could be better and more convenient if they came with their own cartridge. I had to ruin a couple of cartridges before I finally was able to put these refills in. After I finally got it right, I’d ruined a few feet of the refill bags and that did not make me happy either because it was kind of wasteful.Now as for the bags themselves, so far, I think they are working out ok. They are supposed to have 7 layers of film. They don’t seem as thick as Breeze, but I do think that the smell has been contained so far so maybe they are as thick. What I really like is that things seem to slide down into the Genie easier so the refills are nice and smooth…. At least smoother than Breeze.Overall, I do think that these are quite comparable to Breeze and I think the refills are a great product. I am unsure if I will be a continued user, but that is simply because these refills do not come with a cartridge and using the Breeze cartridge is kind of a hassle and makes me waste product. Some have had good luck putting these on cartridges and I say hats off to those folks. My luck is not as good….or maybe my skills are not as good. Whatever the case, I am happy with the refills at this moment and feel that they are a good product, but this will be a short-lived relationship because of the cartridge.

Does not contain the smell AT ALL! I’ve been using target brand refills and we wanted to try this to save some money and my room smells TERRIBLE! I’ve never had any issues with smell from the genie but these bags do absolutely nothing to mask the smell. returning and going back to target brand

You just need to save one empty cartridge from your Genie bags. The top of the cartridge flips off and you place the bags inside. Put the top back on and there you go. So much cheaper. I would highly recommend them.

This is the way to go if you own a Litter Genie. Replacement bag cartridges were getting crazy expensive. These will last me over twice as long for about half the price of the cartridges. They work just as well as the original bags.

We've been using these for a while with our litter genie, they work great we have 1 bags bust out of a bulk box, can't complain.
