These oder trap pods have made a big difference with the odor of my cat's litter box. Given that I don't have a good place to put her litter box to escape the smell completely, and have to put in in my laundry room. I was glad to find a way to deodorize without fake scents that just mask the smell, and/or are toxic. Absorbing the smell is the way to go, and you can attach them inside without having to look at it.

Fits just as well as the original but with a much better price. Seems to help, but you have to change it super frequently to keep the benefit

Fits my LR4 perfectly and way cheaper than buying from Whisker directly. These can also be used as odor absorbers in other places, like a car or closet.

My LR3 was getting pretty stinky after about two (!) years, so I disassembled and cleaned it VERY thoroughly in the tub. It worked noticeably more reliably after it dried out.This time I placed one of these pods on top of where the charcoal filter sits in the bin, and it seems to have reduced, or maybe eliminated, the immediate smells. (3 cats, 4 automated litter boxes, of which the LR3 is preferred).While I can't swear that they work better than 'nothing', it's a super simple upgrade, and the price is quite reasonable, and may reduce or eliminate the 'what's that smell from?' comments.If you have stinky litter robots, try cleaning them well first, but then try these - or both.

We put these in the bottom of our Litter Robot 4, and thankfully when taking an individually wrapped pod out of its packaging, wasn't immediately overwhelmed by a "masking" scent. There's a light fragrance if the pod is up to your nose, but as described these pods are going to capture odors, not mask them - which is great! I was concerned our cats might not appreciate a new smell (with their more-sensitive noses) when putting these in the litter tray, but thankfully they're going about their business as normal. Can't complain!

Usually by this time of the week, the litter boxes are a bit smellier and they are not at the moment so I am going to assume this is making a difference. I use automatic litter boxes, and I put this pouches in the waste bin to see if that helps contain the smell as I clean out the way store once a week in our multi cat household. I’ll have to see how discontinuous to do in the future, but, right now, it seems to be working just fine at controlling those smells so I will write it at five out of five.
