I've only used these twice so far, to hold up backgrounds for pictures of my kids. They worked well. They open about two inches, so you can clip them on something thick. I used a pretty heavy blanket the second time, and the clips held up great.

Clips are good for any project but the orange tips fell off as I was trying to use the product. It’s easy to use, tension isn’t so tough so any child can use it but I am giving this 3-4 stars b/c while it did it’s job, the orange tips were annoying. I bought the 3 inch clips, it’s lightweight and sturdy. The use is endless, this can be versatile to your needs.

The orange tips easily fall off and can be put back on. But not a problem for me. Just unexpected. Great for the money

these were ok for what I needed them for , but not for holding something down for winds . Te little orange plastic tips keep popping off . Ok for smaller projects
