The metal is a little bit on the thin side and the nickel plating makes soldering a bit of a pain but that's to be expected. Abraiding the surface a bit around where you want the solder to stick helps a bunch. If you have a flux pen handy, that will help too but it's not mandatory. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with these so far. We'll see how they hold up in action over time.

I bought these because one of my tools uses alligator clips, and I had lost one of the alligator clips. These are the same size and are a good replacement. They are easy to use, sturdy, Rather versatile

They have some weight to them and strong gripping power. They're not those very thin ones that you're afraid of bending. I've used these for a few years or so without any failing on me. These clips are used to create jumper cables for charging my Lifepo4 batteries, and for temporary wiring cells together for testing the health of my Lifepo4 cells.
