Move the grip stopper to the end forming a loop then place the helve of a tool over the loop

They are great for tools when you are on a latter but also when you are working outside your shop or garage. Beside that it is safer for the people below you, it makes it easier to make sure your tools don’t end up in places where you can’t get them out when you from them. Wish I bought these sooner

I'll be honest I got these because a customer I visit frequently requires them for elevated work. I wasn't expecting much as they're so much cheaper than bigger name brands but these are quality products and much heavier duty than I thought and they have saved me from having to replace numerous tools.
