These are terrible. Slits not cut right or not cut at all. Material is too fat to fit on violin bridge. I've been using these type of mutes for years with no problems. Getting harder to find good quality online.

In this package of 12 tourte-style violin mutes, seven of them had not been cut properly and would not slide over the violin strings. Tourte-style mutes should twist onto the violin strings easily between the D and A strings. Someone who isn't familiar with this style of mute might damage the bridge by twisting and trying to install these mutes because the slits on the sides were not properly cut all the way through, and were impossible to install in the condition they arrived in. Seven of the twelve mutes that I received had not been cut properly in the manufacturing process.

This pack of mutes is great for a multiple people needing one either as a violinist or violist and if you're looking for a super high quality one, this isn't the pack you'd be looking for, however its a great value for 12 of them for only 16.99. It does its main function, which is to create the muted effect on the stringed instrument. The main concern was that a few of the mutes came uncut on one or both of the sides that are supposed to be inserted onto the strings and so you may need to use a small knife or scissors to finish the cut. I took off a star for the review because of that. If you're in need of a lot of mutes though this is a decent pack.
