I was very pleasantly surprised at how good these are! The gold is bright and opaque, goes on smoothly. Frankly, I wasn't expecting them to be this good, I've been disappointed in a lot of oil pastels. Glad I took a chance and I'm going to order the silver next. I use Mungyo for most of my oil pastel art, with Sennelier for last marks. These are going into my "most used" art supplies.

So naturally they don't mix well with craypas but they are very painterly and the white layers beautiful. Perfect for adding clouds to the landscapes my students were working on

Are these great oil pastels? No but they will suffice and backup sticks of white gray and black are always essential
