I use these to replace the paperclip-thin retainers at the end of a larger rod pin.The pin part of the clips are rather thick, compared to the ones they replaced. I had to drill out the holes at the ends of the bars to allow them to fit. All work wonderfully well.

A bought these to replace the bow tie style linch pins for the stabilizer feet on my tractor..those things would get pushed out by the boulders & rocks that would fall onto them..I finally lost-lost them..I also noticed that the ring style of linch pins would not 'accidently' fall out..so I opted to replace all the bowtie pins with the ring linch pins..I would definitely recommend these puppies just for the 'peace of mind factor.

These pins work as they should. Reviews that say the rings have no tension against the pins, you need to flip the ring to the opposite side

Do not buy they are much smaller than advertised and also made a very cheap product not up to the standard necessary to tackle the job.
