Step 1: Install new o-ring to your wrench.
Step 2: Put retaining ring into install tool recess.

Like previous reviews, I would agree that the installation tool is rather soft. In addition, when first installed, it is very stiff and difficult to remove the sockets.

Product is cheap material only last one day and had to replace it again the ring collapsed too fast.

Says fits Milwaukee but it does not, just spits out o rings, Milwaukee takes it's own ring design and these are not it

You absolutely need this kit if you have an impact driver. I popped the ring on my smaller driver last month and needed a repair kit. This worked just fine, takes no time at all to pop a new ring on.

Does what it says. I use my Milwaukee almost every day. The retention ring can wear out easily. Especially if you’re a mechanic and you’re swapping sockets constantly. The only issue i would change is the install tool. It is a bit to soft, and can make it hard to use. All in all, it is worth it.
