Made of stainless steel 304, heavy duty, durable and corrosion resistant.
Hole Diameter/Bit Diameter: The anchor requires a 1/2" hole to be drilled in the base material (Concrete only). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.
Minimum Embedment：The minimum anchor embedment into the concrete is 2-1/4". . Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 2-1/4". of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.
- Maximum Fixture Thickness: The maximum fixture thickness or the maximum thickness of the material being fastened for a anchor is 2-3/4". This will ensure the minimum embedment of 2-1/4" will be met.
- Fixture Hole Diameter: The 1/2" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 5/8".
- Torque Value: between 50 - 60 ft./lbs.
- Spacing between Anchors: a minimum distance of 5"
- Edge Distance：2-1/2"

Always like things that work right out of the box. These anchor fasteners are very functional, work and have good clean threads. The fact that they're made of stainless steel is the reason I purchased these over others. Just drill a 5/16" hole at least a quarter of an inch deeper then length of shank going into the hole, then vacuum out the dust the best you can, thread the nut back to last thread or so, then insert into the hole and pound the remainder of the shank flush to the washer and then tighten nut. I used a 1/2" deep socket attached to my cordless impact tool. I did not over tighten. Last tightening was done with hand wrench to get a proper feel.

Well hopefully this stainless steel last a few years before rusting!! As with all anchors make sure to drill proper size hole to allow anchor to tighten properly. In my case these worked great!!
