Fit and works as it should. Just like a new heater.

Talk about frustration! This thing could have taken 10 minutes to replace but it turned into a 2 hour project. It fits my Warm Glow heater pretty well, not perfect but good enough. However, the orifice was plugged so I had to figure out why it wasn't working and then part out the original assembly and combine some of the parts with the new assembly to create a Frankenpilot. I would have given this a 1 star on the night I replaced it but I'm feeling more generous today.

We have a "Mr. Heater" brand 30,000 BTU ventless wall heater installed in a greenhouse for spring and fall supplemental heating. Works great, but there's some kind of small critter, presumably an insect, that crawls up inside the orifice tube and clogs it up with a tan colored substance that has the consistency of mortar. Almost impossible to get it out, and it renders the heater inoperable, no way to light it. So every 2-3 years the pilot assembly needs to be replaced, because the orifice tube alone isn't replaceable (or at least I've never found the part). This DESA branded replacement is an exact fit and worked perfectly, and the price is reasonable. Thermocouple tubing was long enough to reach up to the valve assembly at the top of the heater, and the igniter electrode worked fine. I imagine this same heater is sold under dozens of brand names, so there's a very good chance this pilot assembly will work for yours. Recommended....

We run 2 wall mounted gas heaters and have a problem with thermocouples so we replace them every couple of years as they go bad. This unit is relatively easy to replace and fits well. A quality pilot with starter and thermocouple, a replacement generally brings a propane heater back to life restoring proper function at a great value.

My Vanguard by Desa heater has a female threaded pilot burner and this one is male. Normally not a big deal but such a small size make finding an adapter difficult.
