Worked very well. Like any other plastic drywall insert the material is hard plastic but will not self tap the basic hole. You need to drill a pilot hole (1/4") and then use a large phillips bit (#3) to tap into the wall, after that you have a very strong anchor for the supplied # 8 screws. If you want a self tap anchor of this type of anchor you need a metal anchor, at a much higher price point. This is an excellent value when used as intended

If I'm hanging anything with weight or that's meant to hold any weight, I use these every time. I haven't had any issues since I've started using these, even with shelves or clothing rods hanging on drywall only. I've even used these to replace old, failed anchors from past projects. They're super easy to use and I haven't had any issues. The anchors have also worked with screws that come included and match with the product I'm hanging. I just put the supplied anchors away and use these instead.

I only needed one or two from the box, it ended up being one! It was such a great deal. I will have enough hangers for a very long time. Great product!

This style and #8 size is my regular go-to for drywall anchors. They're much stronger than the old fashioned push-in anchors that rarely hold up to any stress, although when removing they do tend to leave a much bigger hole to patch.A couple of observations about this particular set:1) They're packaged kind of strangely in a large but thin (5/8" thick) 23-compartment plastic box with 3 anchors per smaller compartment. 23-compartments for 2 different items (anchors and screws) seems like overkill. Other anchors I use come in a deeper, more compact box. It just seems an oddly inefficient way to package and present the product, although it has nothing to do with function or performance.2) I haven't stress tested them to failure yet, but I do notice the plastic of the anchors appears harder and shinier than the anchors I'm used to, which have a softer matte appearance. Not sure that it makes a difference in performance, unless they go brittle with age and crumble, or if a longer screw would crack/shatter instead of just breaking out the end without compromising the integrity of the threads. If they do perform poorly I'll come back and update this review, but so far they're meeting my expectations.

They work as they are intended to do. They are worth the money

Brittle plastic. Shatter under slightest bit of pressure. Would not trust to secure anything. Will attempt to return remaining junk. Bought (expensive) ones from big box home improvement store and did the job right
