I was searching for a salt cellar, and most I saw did not fit the vibe I was going for. Came upon these and thought they were so adorable. I bought the blue one and loved it so much, I bought the red one to hold my pepper. No issues with salt clumping, but I use it so frequently, it's consistently refreshed. My only complaint is the lid on the red will not lie flat - the spoon is noticeably thicker than the blue one and the hole in the lid is not big enough so the lid rests on the spoon, not the jar. It's bothersome, especially for a perfectionist, but I won't bother trying to replace it since it seems to be a design issue with the red version (per other reviews). I will try to fix it another way at some point.

There were two problems with this cute little sugar bowl. The most obvious was that the tip of the spoon handle was broken off. The second, which is worse, is that the lid was too small for the opening, so it dropped in on one side and beyond looking ugly that way, it didn't actually close off the opening, which is what lids are for.For the price, it was less effort to dispose of it than to go through the return/exchange ordeal. Sad, because I really did want it to work for me.
