Works great. Chains are sharp and the saw handles well.

Likes: The saw takes a second to ramp the speed up. This helps avoid kickback and can reduce severity of injuries if you make a safety error. Power and battery life are superior to most in its class. Light and maneuverable at 7#1oz with the battery installed. Not as light as described but plenty light. Safety kickback brake and interlock button are excellent protection against inadvertent startup injuries. Three included chains and two 6.0Ah batteries round out a solid package for what I consider to be a quality but disposable tool. If you do not have other safety glasses the included set does bear an ANSI Z87.1 label and seem adequate and adjustable.Dislikes: Mine came with a toy flat tip screwdriver there were only three small Phillips screws to install but if I did not already have a screwdriver to install them, I would need a Phillips. The included gloves would protect against some scrapes from branches but not so much against thorns and in my opinion they would or could catch on the saw chain and actually pull my hand into it in an accidental touch. I will not risk using those gloves with the chainsaw. Safety instructions are tolerable but should not describe the safety switch as having a mid-position or note a replaceable fuse that is not accessible and may not exist. Batteries do not interchange with my other smaller pruning saws, Your situation may be different.Overall: For $96 it beats the current competition by a generous margin. What should change: The spiral shaped piece in my second image is the primary part that controls chain tension. It has a gain of over half an inch in 360 degrees of rotation. That would compensate for chain stretch of over an inch in a 35-inch loop or 3%. That is insane. This part is resting on the point at 9 o'clock on my image. After taking the photo I reground the last 90 degrees of rotation to grow about 0.06" rather than the current 0.18" or about 1/3 as much in the last quarter turn this should make the tension adjustment more reliable. Perhaps the manufacturer will send replacement cams and also replacement parts for the cam rider to existing owners. Hopefully, they will at least fix the primary inefficiency in their design. The current chain tension adjustment design required me to visually check the chain tension between each cut and to re-tighten the tension every 5 or so cuts of 4" branches. Now that dangerous issue is resolved for my saw. Over-tightening the tension adjustment will likely break your saw.

Overall, it's fairly well made. An oring comes with the screws. That's to be pressed lightly into the oring groove on the saw that's around the bar oil port. I used the handle end of the little screwdriver that came in the box (for mounting the safety hand guard) for pressing the oil port oring in place. It's a little frustrating to put the bar and chain on but not bad. Make sure the chain bar tension cover is properly installed or fitted to allow proper chain operation and tension adjustment. If the cover hangs over the outside of the shallow area, the chain cover and tensioner aren't properly installed. Easy fix to adjust. It seems to have descent power for the size. The batteries are pretty good in size. It takes a while to charge the batteries but I believe you get a better charge that way. Chain specification is printed on the saw chain bags. This is handy if you want to order some more chain. The safety button on the side of the trigger handle is a little awkward for me to engage because of carpal tunnel but it should not be a problem for most people. ( My thumbs don't work too good ) I will revise my review as soon as I use it some more.

Arrive broken. The safety anti kick is plastic and it attaches to the chainsaw body by a plastic shaft about the size around of a pencil. VERY easy break point. Needs redesigned. Plus was only refunded $99 for a $149 broken item. Not right!!!

For the price, my husband gave it a thumbs up because it does the work perfectly just like the expensive brand we bought last time!

It worked well the first two days and then it developed a problem with the battery. The batteries work well with my mini-chainsaw and mini-chainsaw battery works with this one. I realized that the problem is with battery contact due to the bad design. The battery is rather heavy abd doesn't cling tightly to the chainsaw in the front part. I have to secure it with the scotchtape each time to get it to work. Otherwise, it wouldn't turn on.Overall, it's a pretty powerful tool, which allowed me to cut up a tree 10-12 inches in diameter. However, there is poor battery conection due to the bad design.

This is Great! Perfect medium size with plenty of power. The chain tension knob makes it easy to keep tension at the proper torque.

Light weight. Cuts very well. Didn't see any oil leks. Low noise, good value. Battery life is not very good. I carry saw in my truck, never know when a tree maybe in the road.
