I wasn't sure I was going to like these when I saw them. They don't look like copper (see photo attached, with a penny for reference) and I thought they sent me some inferior product. I even tried drilling into one of them. They're copper on the inside, so I guess they're coated with something. They crimped on fine, and the heat-shrink tubing worked great. The product photo is a bit deceptive, but the product is good.

I bought these to attach to pieces of 6 gauge welding cable to use as battery connections in an experimental airplane. They were crimped and soldered to the cable and were perfect for my needs, including ground cables, battery to main solenoid, battery to starter solenoid, etc...I have complete confidence in them, which is very important when you're a few thousand feet in the air.

The lugs were stamped as 4/0 but when using the 4/0 die the was unable to compress the lug. The 4/0 flex I use barely fit in the lug and I had to use a 3/0 die to get compression on the lug. The lug is made well just the size was not correct.

I used these to build cables for our camper's inverter and lithium batter bank. I used a hydraulic crimper and these have worked great. No problems at all.

I bought these for an inverter installation in my little Travel Trailer. I bought a nice 3000 watt Pure Sine wave inverter from Amazon and am doing a custom install so I can use AC power in campsites that don't offer power hookups, without all the effort of running a generator. To run 3000 watts you should be using 4/0 wire. These cable ends are suitable for a single 4/0 wire, but in my case I found some 1/0 wire on sale locally so am doubling the 1/0 wires. These 4/0 cable ends are suitable to handle two 1/0 cables, which ends up being just shy of a full 4/0 cable capacity, and plenty for the intermittent use I plan to put this inverter thru. These cable ends are made of thick copper, are, well constructed with a nice flared end that helps to stuff the massive amount of wire in before crimping. I'm using a hammer style crimper, placed in a 20 ton press, and these ends are holding up nicely to this process. I bought a combination of these 4/0 ends and a bag of 1/0 ends as well and am using the 4/0 ends on connections where stacking is not an option, and the 1/0 ends where the connection has enough space for stacking. I like the 1/0 ends more than the 4/0 only because it is easier to stuff and crimp one cable in an end than it is to stuff 2 cables into a single end. If you buy the cable ends with a smaller bolt hole than required, it is very easy to drill the flat bolt hole section to fit whatever size you may need. I highly recommend these cable ends and this seller for your cable projects.

The shaping of the terminal ends is decent. Copper seems of good quality and the blade thickness is decent for it's intended use with 6AWG wire. Nice to have shrink tubing included. Definitely recommended.
