Given the info in the picture, you might calculate that the inner width of a link (in the shortest direction) should be 0.4" or 10mm. But it's not. If you have a 3/8" or 10mm carabiner, clip, hook or whatever, it won't fit. You need to make a link just a bit wider. I personally used the double wrench method. Otherwise, it's a great stainless steel chain.
