I put up with using a worn out chuck for way too long. After I started to use pliers to tighten the drill bits I decided to see how to change out chucks. It was easier than I thought. The new one works great. If you have one that is giving you problems look to YouTube and see how to change it. I guarantee that you will be happy. The quality is very good. I’m hoping that it will last as long as the original Jacobs chuck but if not it’s inexpensive and easy to change out.

I have a very inexpensive drill press that has worked for me for about a decade. Recently, the factory chuck disintegrated.I got this as a replacement, and it is much heavier duty than the original.It was a snap to install, just a few taps of the rubber hammer and I was back in business.It is not high precision machinery for micrometer type work, but for a hobby carpenter or quick fix, it is perfect.

Worked well on my 8" delta drill press. it was not happy after i tapped it on to the drill press with a block of wood at first it didn't work smoothly. after i opened an closed it mutable times it smoothed out. Quality well you get what you pay for but i am happy with it.

Worth every penny. Used to replace chuck on my Harbor Freight drill press that had some wobble from the start, and just got worse over time. New chuck fits right in, it took a minute to replace and it's perfectly steady with no wobble at all.Definitely high quality and highly recommended.

I used this to replace the chuck on a Harbor Freight drill press that never worked well. Runout probably not great, but I do not have the instrument to measure it, and it does not matter for my use. Great for a low-end drill press.

This is one really heavy duty chuck like the listing says. The hefty chuck completely dwarfs my old chuck and is hopefully not too heavy for my lightweight drill press... seems good quality though!New on left old on right

J’ai utilisé ce mandrin de remplacement sur une perceuse à colonne Dayton Tradesman 14â€.L’ancien mandrin était retenu par une vis, a filets conventionnels, qu’il a fallu enlever.Par la suite, un petit coup de marteau sur le dessus du mandrin, le vieux s’est enlevé.Le nouveau ne requiert pas la vis.Le conique le retient parfaitement.Parfaite solution pour le prix!Remettez votre perceuse en état!!

Great quality replacement chuck. Good price. Shipped direct from China to Canada. Took a week or two for the mail systems to deliver. Arrived well packaged and undamaged. The old 8" drill press is back in service now.
