I installed this on my truck in less than an hour. It was super easy. It’s been working great! This is a DIY $7.00 fix. So, save yourself the $200 plus that it would cost you taking it to a shop. It’s literally a 30-45 min. job to install. This is my first time installing this part on any vehicle I’ve owned.

Worked perfectly on a Nissan frontier. Easy to install and a lot cheaper than buying a new shifter cable. Installation took about 5 minutes. Most of which is removing the interior cup holders and the coin tray. Seems to be of sturdier quality that the stock bushing.

Though the transmission went out on my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder when the shifter stopped changing the car into gears. After ripping out the shifter and being able to manually shift using the shifter cable, I had realized the gear shift bushing had disintegrated. This piece was able to perfectly fix the problem and saved me 100s of dollars and time that I would have spent at the mechanic.

Strong and good quality Bushing, Fit on the shifter linkage. Watch YouTube videos prior to installing, and definitely encourage using grease. The fitment tool is not necessarily needed.

This little rubber bushing worked flawlessly and saved me hundreds of dollars. Nissan wants you to purchase the entire cable when all that is needed is the bushing. Hard to reach but easy to install in 2006 Titan
