Finally got a unit that would work on my washer. Part is a job to get on, but well worth it. Total time to remove old and install new was about 45 mins. At last, no more mold and old rubber smell in the washer. Really good price for the part and doing it myself, saved a lot of money. The washer is 14 years old and I sure don't want to buy a new one because of the way they are built anymore. Most only offer a one year warranty. Guess they know they can't build them like they used too. Definitely get yourself some good clamps to put the unit in or an extra set of hands to help.

The bellows appears well made and high quality rubber. I installed it in about 45 minutes. The inner seal is most difficult. Some tricks definately required. 1. Soak the bellows in hot water for 15 minutes prior to install to soften the rubber and remove packaging kinks. 2. Prepare a little tub of dawn soap mixture and use a paint brush to apply this mix to the sealing area of both the boot and the outer tub. You can't use too much. 3. Install the inner ring starting at the top squared notch. Be patient. Run your finger around the seal to check it after you mount it prior to installing the spring. Easy to miss an area. 4. Clamp the spring in 2 places at opposite ends BEFORE trying to install it. I made my own clamps out of 1/2 inch pvc pipe which I shaved the ends down a bit and wedged them against inside of front washer panel. I found the supplied clamps useless. Do not overstretch / deform spring as others have suggested. Paint the soap mix on the spring. Work each half on. Then the inlet hose and outer door seal / spring which is very easy. I had some rubbing of the drum at the push-back tab. I stretched it away from the drum and ran the washer rinse cycle with HOT water twice to break it in. All is well now, no noise, no leaks.

This was difficult to install, it took several hours and we had to watch multiple videos on how to install it. It does fit our Frigidaire Front Load washer. The seal is for the door is now so tight that we have to hold the door closed when starting the machine so it locks properly. But it is working well!

This took me about a week to finish, I was on my last pair of underwear. Word of advice take the front panel of the washer off and buy clamps. Good luck soldier.🫡

It fitted exactly in the specified model of my washer. Just a tip, I used WD40 to lubricate the liner and it slid in with just a press, it was a lot harder last time to fit it back.

I checked the official website of my washing machine, for this part, the price is 390 dollars, which shocked me a lot, I mean, EXO ME? 390 dollars for a door seal?So I bought it from amazon, thank god this is the right size for my machine, I paid a handyman and he installed it successfully, good shopping experience, really PARTFORLESS

It's harder to close the door now, and sometimes the lock solenoid buzzes, but I just push the door a bit and it goes away. I also have to push the door in briefly to open before pulling at the end of the wash cycle now. Anyway, no more leaks!

The product is great value for the money. It is almost like the original. I couldn't see any difference but the technician who installed it notes it was not original. It fits well anyways. Installation is not easy at all, but that's not a problem of the piece. Chance are you will need a technician to installed, so you can save some money by purchasing this one.

This bellow or door boot replaced my existing one on my Frigidaire FFFW5000QW, which was moldy and stained. The fit was perfect and it appears to be as described. If I were to compare to the original one, I think the material isn’t quite as stiff or thick, but I don’t think it’ll matter. It’s a great deal compared to paying to ship the more expensive OEM. I have an identical washer in the basement suite, so I may buy another one to replace that one.

DO NOT buy! NOT the same as the original.I bought the replacement in 2020 as it was supposed to be an OEM. It was installed this weekend (oct 2021). Yes. It took a while to tired to figure out how to install and after watching many YouTube channels, I decided to do the actual install 1.5 weeks ago.The 2 photos with the black mold were the original for my other identical laundry set.The replacement one was TOO Thick and it had 2 more arrows on the sides where the hinge and the door lock were. The original one (see photo) didn’t have the 2 additional arrows. After a very difficult install process over days of trying to figuring out.The door was unable to be locked as there was way too much resistance and a large gap between the door and the seal on the top and the door was unable to close…and after a couple of days looking at the other machine compared to the new replacement. It was determined the new replacement was NOT a good fit. It was not the exact replacement. DON’T BUY.
