My 2018 Buick Enclave’s front USB would disconnect and sometimes not load CarPlay. I got this as a replacement and it seems to work.It is tough getting out the old one though. You need a clip removal screwdriver and you can put pressure on the plastic and eventually get the old one out. Mine broke while getting it out but wasn’t hard to remove

They sent me one originally that worked for about a week. That one broke so I returned it and the one they sent me to replace it was obviously used and had scratches all over it. Of course that one didn’t work either. I would just spend a little extra and get the OEM product instead of this cheap junk. Also I know it’s not the wiring in my car because I took this port off of my friends car and my Apple car play started working and my phone was charging. When I plugged this into his car it didn’t work either. Go with a different company for this, I wish I did.

My 2018 Bolt had an issue with the USB connection where it would only work intermittently. Chevy wanted $110 for the OEM part, and while I normally like to spring for OEM, I figured Chevy themselves likely outsourced these products to a cheap 3rd party manufacturer anyways. With that, I paid the ~$40 for this device and hoped for the best.And... it works! No issues and it works as well as the OEM. Both the OEM and aftermarket look identical and functions as such. I'll update this review if that changes.The proper way to replace this to remove a portion of the center console. However, I decided to take the lazy route and pry the old part using 2 flat-head screwdrivers. This took a bit of effort and certainly scratched a bit of the plastic housing. However, this did work, taking about 15 minutes to wiggle it out.

My 2020 Chevy Bolt had some screen glitches and was disconnecting from Apple Carplay and Android Auto. This part had resolved these issues. Disassembling central console is very difficult in this car, so you should be able to pry off the old part with two thin screwdrivers. And if old part falls apart, fish it out with long nose plyers.
