For my purposes they work well for carving deep grooves in wood slabs. They seem to be very durable and a good value for the money.

starting wood working and this is great for intro. they aren't super high quality but wasn't expecting that at this price point. good to see which tools i will need to invest in high quality tools.

If you want to expand the capabilities of your angle grinder, try this kit. You get a number of wood grinding discs, which you can use for shaping wood, though I don't. I actually use these when I cut down a small tree in the yard, and instead of taking the stump out, I cut it as low to the ground as possible, then start grinding away until it's below ground level, then cover it back up. It works for me. The silver blade which they call a wood carving bit is good for getting that stump closer to the ground. You get 5 flap discs and those are decent. Most of us are familiar with those, and they last as long as others. And finally a few bushings which come in handy, and another wrench. I already have a few, but with another one, I can keep a spare in other places. It's a pretty good set, especially if you're like me and want to do some yard work with your grinder, even though that's not the first thing you think of when you say angle grinder.
