I was quite excited about this bike as my daughter had recently learned how to ride and we wanted a collapsible option so it would take up the entire trunk when traveling. I spent about an hour putting this together and then had my daughter test it out. She is five and quickly noted that the brakes were too big for her hands so she could not safely stop. There is also no kick-stand. But the main safety issue is that the lock-pin that keeps the bike solid vs. collapsed has a clearance of about 2mm. That is a horribly out-of-spec design for something carrying a child. After my daughter was unable to stop the bike we quickly assessed all the sharp edges and long screws (clearly meant for a bigger bike) that could cause more injury. I took it apart, boxed it up and upon Amazon accepting the return a very broken English message was received noting that they would not be offering a full refund unless I took a bunch of photos and corresponded directly with them. After reviewing the policy this message was clearly incorrect and I found it to a violation of Amazon's policy. As such Amazon was notified. My return was prompt (one day after purchase) as we felt this was far from the quality and safety a parent should expect from a product at roughly $100.

It's a good and cute bike but the brakes are difficult to set up and were not straight mite have to take it to a bike store to switch from the spring brake to normal
