Used these to thread into a 1/4-20 T-Nut.No issues with the thread and the plastic was plenty sturdy to put a little torque on the bolt.Little more pricey than I would like, but it got the job done.

I ordered these ¼"X 20 Thumb screws a few years ago. They're ok for small applications but difficult/ uncomfortable to grip when tightening. (See photo) So if you need something very tight, these will hurt and possibly break because they are not strong looking. I searched unsuccessfully on Amazon for ones with bigger knob ends and it seems there are very limited to no choices in T- knob thumb screws. I will not be buying these again.
