Love the size and that it's good for oven, microwave and dishwasher. You have the option of using the lid and it's the perfect size for a toaster oven when you don't want to turn your oven on. Highly recommend.

I like that I can use it in the microwave and store things in the refrigerator to warm another time. I like the size. Just right for 1 serving. It's not as thick of glass as the 1 liter one I bought before, (different seller, no longer available). But it does seem to be very durable. I have dropped the lid a couple of times when it was hot. No chips or cracks. It washes easily and is always shiny. Any food reside comes out easily just washing with dish soap or a couple minute soak in hot water with a little dish soap. Maintenance is very quick and easy. It holds heat well, but not for an extended time. I have not tried to bake in it, only in the microwave.Overall it was a good purchase. I love it. I'm trying to gradually replace plastic for microwave and storage, this is perfect. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, so I kept watching for a lightening deal or a sale. I purchased it during Prime Days. Great litte casserole dish for one person or maybe two depending on what your making. Hope this helps you decide to give it a try.

SOME ARE SAYING THE COVER DOES NOT FIT WELL. MINE FIT PERFECTLY. NICE AND LIGHT TO GRAB OUT THE OVEN TOO..

Great smaller glass casserole dish with glass lid. Can use in microwave or oven. Very handy.

It was harder than i expected to find a small glass dish with a glass lid. I was hoping to find this to avoid putting any plastic into the microwave. This is perfect...just wish it wasn't so pricey

In June 2023 I purchased the 1L version of this casserole. It had two notable problems, as detailed in my Amazon review of it. This 0.5L version corrected both. It has no 'air' bubbles in the glass, and it has a more generous radius between the bottom and the sides; the radius in my 1L casserole was/is so small that food gets stuck along that radius and is hard to clean out.Unfortunately, this 0.5L comes with a new negative. As others have noted, the glass lid requires more attention to detail when putting it on. The handles are narrower, and the lid rim less pronounced. As a result, even after the lid is correctly positioned, the casserole still has to be handled more carefully to keep the lid from being dislodged. This is a minor annoyance, and it's unfortunate, as otherwise this is an excellent small casserole. (The lid on the 1L version has more generous handles and a rim that provide for a more secure fit onto its body.)

If you are like me and generally cooking for yourself then you will want to get one of these for sure! Whether you are cooking a casserole or reheating left overs, the 1 litre size is a must have for all singles out there. Works well in my convection oven.

Perfect size for my needs. The lid should have a handle, it’s impossible to remove when just out of the oven, and doesn’t sit securely when set at a 90 degree angle. It’s also very slippery on the metal oven rack. I’m using it and the price was right, but I’m being very careful with it.
