After crimping used heat guy to shrink. Hope they last a long long time on boat.

The metal portion to crip the wire is miniscule and can't really hold the wire. Even the smallest pull on the wire dislodges it from the connector

These connectors are serviceable but it is difficult to make the connection. They are not very sturdy and bend easily when using the necessary force to put them together. The female can be pryed open a bit more but I don't feel this should be required.Update 10/6/24 - Your mileage may vary, but I found this product to be barely adequate. In addition to the issues above, my ratcheting crimping pliers (which are a pretty nice set and work fine with every other vendors connectors I've tried) had to crimp each connector several times in different spots in order to make a firm connection. I will probably use the remainder of the box, but would not purchase another set and could not recommend this product.

These worked for what I needed. Mostly used for speaker connections on my boat.
