8-31-18I'm reviewing the Ginsco 250 piece Terminals, crimp-on with the heatshrink & adhesive.I was just looking to replenish my electrical supplies and these terminals (some insulated, some not) were some of the specific supplies I was searching for. I use these for my weather protected connections. I use these on mostly automotive but I have used them on 110v household appliances, such as on the controls of something.I have used Ginsco's other electrical hardware, such as their adhesive filled, heat shrink, crimp butt connectors. They were referred to me by a friend who does YT videos, as he had used them as well, with good results. I'm glad I chose these, as these work as well as those I buy in the big box stores, but for 1/5 the cost! Maybe even less! These types of products or supplies can certainly add up.I've already used some of the terminals from this kit and so far, they all installed easily and passed the "tug test". The insulation is also intact after crimping, so they should hold up in the application I used this for, which was to wire up an aftermarket radio and dashcam in my own vehicle. I will definitely order from Ginsco in the future.I bought this from the seller "GinscoDirect" but fulfilled by Amazon, which I feel is important to list this info. I've come across sellers with variances in their items, including knockoffs, even if listed as same brand. I'll post an update with a durability review.

They are good light duty solder-less connecters but the shrink tube takes way too much heat to shrink… you can wind up melting most wire insulation before the connector insulation shrinks.

I didn't crimp these. I pealed the insulation off and soldered them on. So, I can't comment on them being heat shrinkable, but I can say that they work fine. It's nice to have an assortment on hand and this is pretty compact. I would say this is approximately 1" thick x 12" long x 9" wide. So, this fit in my tool chest along with my other electrical tools.... shrink tubing...etc.

Great connectors for the price. I am using them to build harnesses for Megasquirt ECU systems in cars. They shrink beautiful with a heat gun, I just hold the heat on until I see the bubbles come out of the heat shrink then they are good to go. You can see the heat shrink mold around the wire for a tight seal. They are fairly rigid after the heat shrink has cooled. They do the job and they dont cost $1.25 per connector like the mil spec Raychem ones I usually use.

The product arrived completely unorganized. The box isn't quite big enough to fit everything so that it is grouped by size and color, so they just stuff items where ever they could get it to fit. The product is decent and easy to use with the correct tools.
