First, I bought Moen because of the reputation--then, I discovered that these pull-out faucets have a wide-spread leak problem. Mine was just behind the swivel ball-joint. Not a big drip, but enough to damage cabinetry below if undetected for a week or two. Not good. Moen guarantees parts for life, but I got the above replacement fast and cheap and have yet to see the free replacement from the manufacturer. My model is the Banbury, #87017. This hose fit perfectly. It was very easy to replace--tools needed were headlamp flashlight, drip pan, a few paper towels, garden pad to protect the back while up under the sink and.... That's right, the replacement itself required no tools. You may need a pair of pliers padded with electrical tape to unscrew the connection to the faucet but I did not. Either way--simple replacement, just requiring the flexibility and will to get down on your back and under your sink. Your cup of coffee won't even have time to cool before you're done. I see the critical reviews, but experienced none of those issues. Will this non-OEM hose last as long as the original? I don't know; the original's 4-year lifetime was certainly unimpressive so I'm betting the cheap aftermarket replacement beats the original. At this price, ease of installation, and fit, I'll keep a spare on hand for the next drip-discovery. EDIT and UPDATE: Okay, the official OEM Moen replacement arrived a few days after the reviewed aftermarket hose, pretty fast. Too late--I installed the aftermarket part already, got a spare for the next time this part fails.

Just as advertised for my Moen kitchen faucet with the pull-out sprayer.It fits perfectly and it was an easy-peasy install. I spent more time removing items from under the sink than I did replacing the hose.Half the price that Lowes advertised.

This is good product that will allow a quick replacement of your damaged hose. However it is not excellent and will not be any more durable than the original hose, which is not much.

I went to 2 home improvement stores looking for this hose to replace my almost 9-year-old Moen faucet hose and was surprised at how difficult it was to find them in stock. Let me start by saying, Moen will send you the replacement part for free. But in my case, they sent the wrong part. Heck, I could have ordered the wrong part and reordered the correct part in less time than it took for Moen to ship out just the wrong part. There are different hose ends on these "pull down" faucet heads, so please make sure you match the end to your hose otherwise it may not pull back in place. Also, just to be safe, please turn off the water under the sink before you disconnect the hose. Imagine your surprise when, while you are under the sink changing the hose, one of your kids comes in and turns on the water. YES, this does happen, and the only one its funny to, is the kid, at least until you crawl out from under the sink with that, I'm going to kick your butt look on your face. The hose connection is a simple "push button" release, then a snap and click back in place. Do a quick "pull" test at the connection to make sure it "clicked" or your feet will get real wet, real fast when you go to test the new hose.
