Good to have these things around I use some pretty much everywhere. If you need to reliably drop 0.7 volts or any multiple of that they really come in handy. Also handy to put across relays to keep their high voltage turn-off spike from hurting your driver transistors. Also great on inputs to power supplies and whatnot to keep reverse polarity from damaging your components.

I used these diodes to make a mechanical keyboard and they all pretty much work as expected. I think I had 1 out of 50 come out busted.

My son wanted these for his electric project and seems happy with these. I like that it came with so many for the price.

I needed one to fix an old stereo amp, replaced the bad one and it worked! Now I have spares.

These diodes are probably not intended for high speed applications like a switching power supply. But they should be serviceable as AC mains rectifiers, and for DC reverse polarity protection, etc. I give the seller credit for providing a spec sheet on the product page, and I was able confirm a few of the specs.I tried to measure the forward voltage-current characteristic, which is tough with a manual setup; as soon as you start putting serious amounts of current through the diode, it heats up and the forward voltage drops. Specs are given at 25 C, or 'room temperature'. At 7 A, after waiting a few minutes for the diode to warm up, I was getting 0.679 V forward voltage, and the power dissipation would have been about 4.75 W. I observed a case temperature of about 80 deg C. That very roughly does correspond to the claimed 10 C/W thermal resistance. Just be aware, if you actually put 10 A through this diode for an extended time, the case will get VERY hot. I'd recommend sinking heat away via the leads, perhaps a large copper area on a circuit board.Forward voltage was just above 0.9 V at 7 A (the highest current convenient for me to source); I'm virtually certain it would be less than 1.0 V as claimed on the spec sheet.I think you can find diodes with a lower voltage drop in a smaller package, but if you need a brawny diode for a dumb rectifier task, these are cheap and will do the job.
