I purchased these to use on some Toyota Camry transmission bolts that wouldn't seal properly (even with Permatex thread sealant on the threads). Solved that problem instantly. What I've also found is that they work great on oil pan nuts where you don't have an OE or OE-equivalent gasket in stock, and the person has a badly leaking oil pan nut. These are far superior to the plastic kinds sold at the "local" parts stores. Grab a box to have them on hand because you'll eventually need them.
