You can put these onto guitar strap buttons over the strap for added security again the strap coming loose.

Well--it's a little weird saying "I love it" in order to give five stars. I mean, these are washers. How excited can you get? Still they serve my purpose well. I bought them to use as strap locks on my acoustic guitar straps. They are slightly thinner than the comparable one I bought locally at Ace Hardware ($1 for 1 washer). Their dimensions are perfect for my usage. When the guitar strap is in use, I slip the washer over the end pin. When I put the guitar away, I pull the washer off, remove the strap, and store the washer on the end pin. I probably have a lifetime supply of them in this one box. However, if I need more in this size I will quickly buy these again.The idea for using washers this way is from a discussion on the Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum.

I use these to cushion squeaky bolt together joints. The last thing I want is to lose the big one again due to a squeak when I move to get into position to shoot
