I think it's a great pad for the value. The top rubber seems sturdy for me, I like the sound. What I didn't like much was the bottom surface. I'd have preferred a thicker one instead of this foamy surface. I guess it does its job but won't work as a 2nd practice surface as in other practice pads. I guess that's okay for a -20$ pad. I would recommend it

I was curious about this pad. I’ve been looking for a new one to keep at work. I have a collection of pads- Offworld V3, Xymox Reserve, Sim Pad, Evans Reel Feel, Remo Silent Stroke, Zildian Reflexx, Ahead S Hoop, and a few other pads. I compare this to a gray Vic Firth pad. It’s loud due to it’s wood base. For 25 bucks (tax) you can’t beat this pad. It is a got some bounce. Like a gray Vic Firth pad side. The reverse side is simply a thin foam layer, similar to any pad with a foam layer to prevent slide. It’s not really a “second side†but you can play on it, and it’s a little more muffled than the gum rubber side. 04.26.22.

It's an 11" pad, with a 10.5" playing surface...suitable for any drummer at any skill level. I purchased the pad looking for a 14" playing surface, so I am greatly disappointed in the false product title of 15.7", but it is very similar to a 12" pad...so I inadvertently just purchased yet another small pad to add to my absurd amount of drum pads that I have acquired in my 40+ years of drumming...good times. Enjoy this incredibly compact 15.7" pad! You're gonna love it!...ugh

This is a large practice pad used by my son. He is either NOT practicing, or he is and I can't hear him. I bought this practice pad so that he could work on his timing and rhythm. When he does play the drums, he seems to be getting better, so I have to think it is due to him practicing on this pad.

I am a music education major in college and I needed this for a Pedagogy class and this one works very well. It’s quiet enough where I can practice in my dorm and not disturb my neighbors or even room mate. It is about the size of an actual snare drum which it good but sometimes it’s hard to carry around.

Nice to getting into your bag and practicing outside. Light & small enough to be carried around, but still big enough to feel like a proper drum.

If you child wants a snare drum, encourage that expression. The arts are great! But make sure you purchase one of these practice pads or you will go plum crazy listening to the bang, bang, bang, bang, day after day.
