I went to the Schells Bock Fest where they do fire poking. I’ve always wanted to do it at home. This worked really well. But the standard length is only like a long screw driver. Would work well for a grill or very small campfire. I ordered the single extension (from the brands website) which made it better for standard or large size campfires. I then ordered a beer tap bolt from Amazon and attached an old deer antler as my handle.

I have been using this for my tik tok lives. It’s gained me about 700 followers in 2 uses. Lrettt sure I helped sell a few too 😂.The product works great. Very sturdy. I love the extension attachment. It’s been a fun tool for changing up the aromas and flavors In a beer.

We got interested in this to "flip" beers after watching a few historical cooking videos where they made a drink called "flip".Traditionally the tavern barkeeper would use a hot poker to heat the drink and then pour it between two tankards or pitchers to froth it a bit.The key here is a very hot poker type thing. If you don't have a fire or a fireplace, it's actually pretty difficult to get this product up to heat. We have a gas stove and laid the end over the burner but it took quite a few minutes to get it hot enough to warm the beer up enough to turn the sugar. Then to do another drink you have to heat it again because the end cools off too much. Using a fireplace would heat more of the rod and let you do several drinks before needing to reheat it.I dunno... It's a one trick kitchen gadget, which I usually don't like. It's super well made but it's really only effective if you have a fireplace or firepit.Maybe I'll just have to build a tavern somewhere so I can have a tavern barkeeper to tend the fire and make me flip whenever I want.

I wanted to make an old Colonial American Winter Drink called Flip that involves a poker or toddy rod that is heated on a fire and then plunged into the cocktail. This beer caramelizer rod did exactly what I needed for that! Product was well packaged and easy to put together. I can't wait to use it again for more Flip in the future and other drinks in the summer months using an outdoor fire pit!

My brother in law can be a challenge to shop for. A lot of time we end up buying him a special bottle of whiskey or some difficult to find beers. While those gifts are always fun they aren't as unique or thoughtful as my husband and I want to be. So, I am always scouring for an idea for him. He is not a fan of needless "stuff" so I was hesitant with this but decided to take the chance. We are so happy I did. He was researching the gift as soon as I explained to him what it was! (he was a bit confused at first lol) SUCCESS! He has tried it now and is hooked! Thank you so much for a fun and unique gift!

This is a goofy, but fun accessory. It does create a caramelized marshmallow flavor if the correct beer is used (porter or stout).

I love this just wish it had the option to get a butane torch stand for it like I’ve seen in Belgium. Anyone know where to get one?

Unhappy to have a damaged box delivered. This is meant to be a 20th anniversary gift. At least the product itself appears unharmed.

Used once and completely melted. Would not recommend.
