I got this kit to remove rust and paint from the base cart of my BBQ grill. These made the job easy. I couldn't tell too much difference between the colors but that may just be me. I went through about five of them to do the job. They worked fine in my cordless grill. Once, when I pushed too hard , my bad, the pad snapped off leaving the base in the holder but I was easily able to unscrew it with needle nose pliers. They do not leave a smooth finish which is OK since you are removing rust.

I do auto body work for a living. These things are cheap and get the job done in a hurry. I get down to bare metal in no time. They also get paint and old body filler out of tight spots easily. I can’t tell the difference between the different colors. They all seam to have the same course texture. I run them on a die grinder a high rpm’s and they don’t explode like a wire wheel. They also don’t throw sparks like a grinder. I’ll keep buying replacement disks until they quit selling them.

Bought a set for a engine rebuild project, these are great for gasket surface cleaning. I just take my time and don't heat up surface. Don't want to warp the surface if you get too hot. Just a disclaimer, lol
