Used this to replace a short RS485 serial cable to a comms expansion board. Very good quality wires, that stripped easily and cleanly, and secured firmly into the screw terminals on the connectors.

* Tinned copper cable for better protection from moisture, etc.* It looks silver but if you look carefully, the core is actually copper.* The outer material is soft and easy to work with.* I counted the strands and there are indeed 26 strands per conductor, as described.* Over the 49.2' my multimeter showed 0.32 ohm. If I connect the probes directly (without the cable) I get 0.12 ohms. So the resistance of the cable is 0.2 ohm. That is exactly what it should be for tinned copper, i.e. 0.201 ohm. Pure copper would be 0.197 ohm so rounded also 0.2 ohm. The difference is like 1.5%.

It's flexible and perfect if you need to connect different sections of your strip lights. Easy to route the wire through or around objects. and it can handle the power necessary for LED RGB strip lights. The wire is already pre-tinned making soldering a breeze. I still tin the wire myself but it just needs a quick touch of the iron with a dab of solder.

I bought 10 feet of 16ga 4 conductor wire. It is what it says. Wires are correct gauge stranded tinned copper with good insulation. Cable cover is reasonably thick and flexible. Cover is marked every foot as required. We'll see how well it holds up to sunlight over time.

Used this to wire fog/DRL lights for my Jeep. It works great and was able to get everything wired correctly and as needed. The added protection on the wires helps with longevity and installation.
