Love it for steel posts. This post pounder is so much better than a sledge hammer. It is lighter than the bigger ones, but it works well when the soil is damp and soft. I am not a big woman, so I appreciate its lighter profile and its efficiency.

Solid product at a fraction of the cost you'll find at HD stores. Could be heavier, but good size for the price.

You can tell it is a hefty, but not overly heavy tool . I drove a series of "T" posts with no trouble. Way safer and easier than using a hammer.
