They have a "crease" in them that intrudes on the inside of the 90 degree angle, so you can't put these on the outside of a 90. To be clear, if you were using these on a desk for example that had a top and a back, you would put these under the desk, not on top.The crease is actually a nice touch because it adds a ton of rigidity to the bracket. These do not flex or bend at all.

I used these brackets to hang solar lights over block wall. I didn’t want to make holes in the blocks so I used outdoor command hooks. Sounds a little Mickey Mouse but so far so good.

These are nice and as advertised, but the hardware and screws are a little measly. Depending on your application i'd use bigger beefier stuff. Can't really complain for the price though.

Great way to add strength to challenging joints.

These were not 1.5" in width, more like 1 5/8", so if you're planning to use them on standard dimensional lumber, they will be too wide, overlap, and not an exact fit. I tried them on 2x2 which measured exactly 1.5 x 1.5. Plenty strong, well made, finish is good, but NOT 1.5" wide.

Bent metal with holes. They work for my application.
