It got the job done but not for hard impacted play. Witch is sad cause the sting was good . Get the shorter one for hard impacted. The wood was smooth tho

There is no way this broke after 2 swings wood is cheap and very unsatisfactory and it’s smaller than it appears to be on photos now I’m sitting here trying to tape it up

FYI- this item is shipping in clear cellophane wrapping so is clearly visible to everyone who sees the package.Otherwise, it delivers a stingy sensation that is more effective than other paddles we have. Ouch! Colored her bottom bright pink after just a few light strokes. This paddle will be reserved for those occasions when a heavy paddling that produces tears and squeals is needed.
