I am a teacher in an elementary school and my favorite part is dressing up for the holidays. I bought this because of the value for the price, the color, and style. The color was very rich and the size was perfect. There were no zippers to mess with, as it laced up the back. It was a nice soft fabric, but it had very little stretch to it. I was exactly what I wanted, and I would recommend the purchase. I’m looking forward to changing it up and wearing it again, maybe next time as a vampire, or throw on a powdered wig. Great versatile costume.

Expected it to be cheap looking but it was a good quality. No cheap ribbon laces and loops on the back. I'm 5'3" so I had to shorten it about 6 inches but overall great dress. Has a zipper in the side, but the dress slipped on without it. (Won first place in the contest)

I am 5'7" and weigh 170 pounds with a 41 inch bust. I searched and searched for the right dress and right size. I ordered this in large, as the returns were free, if I needed to go up a size. It fits like a glove. Very nice dress for the price. I added black inside the bottom of the sleeves, as I didn't like the white showing when I lifted my arms. I have had many positive comments already and love wearing it. Off I go, Christmas caroling. Merry Christmas!

This dress is expensive for the kind of dress you get. 1st and foremost, I recommend getting some kind of petticoat to go underneath as it doesn't come with one. The dress is really long otherwise, because it's meant for something to be underneath and still reach the floor.The fabric is really nice. It's silky and smooth, but very thin. I feel like I'm going to need to wear something underneath it if I'm wearing it out (which I will be).The corset backing is a really pretty feature, but if you order a size up (like I was originally seeing in the reviews), it gets lost. I have to pull it so tight together so make it fit nicely and the detail gets lost.The lace on the sleeves is kind of scratchy but it stays puffed out so it doesn't really bother me too much.The neck piece is so tight around my neck! I literally feel like I'm being choked. I wear an xl/2x and ordered a 3x based on the reviews and the neck piece just seems to be standard sizing. My neck isn't even that big...Overall I'm happy with this purchase. This was the only seller that could get me my dress in time for Halloween guaranteed. Other sellers have this same dress cheaper but it was too far our for my comfort.

Size: M Color: Purple & BlackI bought this dress for an outdoor Dickens event. It was an unusually mild temperature, so I didn't wear an overcoat, but under normal winter events, I would need one.The dress is very good quality, especially compared to more expensive themed dresses that I have previously purchased. The sleeves were tight on my upper arm, but that's my only complaint. Otherwise, the fit was perfect. As the picture indicates, I did wear a hoop skirt under the dress.The dress ironed-out nicely from shipping. The bottom got dirty from the event. I have since washed it and dried it with my normal laundry. It washed/dried great. I'll only be wearing it once a year, so it will not be heavily used.I do recommend this for someone looking for a reasonably priced Victorian outfit.

This look exactly the way it does in the listing. I have on a petticoat under it to poof it out. Fabric is thin but not bad. The size is accurate. I’m a size 14/16 bust 40d, I got an extra large. Zipper is on the side. TIP: I tied a knot on the strings then put hair pins in the knots to string the back into the loop holes. Then removed the hair pins.

This dress was lightweight, but ran a little big. I had to size down. It looked really good with the wired underskirt. It kept me warm Halloween night, without making me sweat.

This dress really is beautiful and the sizing was dead on!But a few of the loops for the lacing in the back popped out. Those will need some reinforcement!
