I bought this to wear over a dress bought from the same seller for Renaissance Festival. I have wanted to dress up for YEARS but I've never found the right outfit. This was the most comfortable and flattering outfit combination I have ever worn. AND IT HAS POCKETS!! Like real deep pockets. I kept forgetting my phone was even in them because they were so secure. I have gained a lot of weight since becoming a mom, and I've never had much self esteem. The only other time I have felt this good about the way I looked was at my wedding. Wearing this as an outer layer made my whole silhouette look amazing! Not to mention I was able to roll around in the dirt with my kid, walk around everywhere and sit on the grass, all while feeling comfortable, and it never got dirty! I have not been given anything to write this review. It was just that amazing! The material is soft, durable, and seemed well made I would wear this as an everyday outfit if I could. 10/10 would recommend and would buy again

The perfect cut & beautiful color, plus a size chart that actually worked for a good fit! The rayon fabric is soft and lightweight making it ideal for warm weather festivals, unlike most costumes. This dress works for rennies, pirates as well as Celtic fest since it is loosely based on historic "Irish dress". The in-seam pockets are nice & deep, and a rare treat to find in cosplay. Well made and an excellent value.

The weight of the fabric is on the lighter side but can still keep heat. Zipper gets caught up crossing the seam but it will still zip over if there's not too much tension in the fabric. Pockets are a decent size but do not fit a whole phone. I'm high-30s H, and while the under-bust folds don't stay down well (it can be tucked in or held down with pins), it still gives me plenty of room with and without a bra. The vest definitely compliments and accentuates not only the bust but also the figure, WHILE giving plenty of coverage in a short dress/skirt. Looks GREAT as a Ren fit, layered over jeans and a t-shirt, or layer over other dresses! Will definitely be getting more colors of this and more products from this brand (& the way it flows in the wind/downstairs is amaaazzinngg). I would consider this money well spent, this is a very versatile piece for your closet! No noticeable/unpleasant smells upon opening. Hardware is as expected.

I bought this for the sake of wearing it under a corset to help blend my white dress better. The material is on the thinner side but is soft and for the most part pretty sturdy and works great with it intended purpose. The issue i have is that it fits everywhere but getting off and on can be a bit of a challenge due to my chest being a bit to big. For context im 172 lb (78.018kg), 5'4 (162.56 cm) and 36D. Again once its on it fits nicely once on and isn't to tight or anything but even with the zipper i needed ask my sister or my partner for help. So if you a larger chested girlie maybe size up one for easier removal and putting on.

I won a national sewing contest when I was 17 years old, so I know what I’m saying when I say they’re well-made. They look and feel like ultra-suede, which is a medium weight faux suede. The colors are rich and pretty.

Very cute just a little tight. I'm Usually small- medium size range and honestly could have bought a large and been fine. The material has no give whatsoever and I have to undo the corset evey time to get in or out. The zipper doesn't help much. Other than that it's wonderfully whimsical and a great length for me. I'm 5'2 and it falls to my ankles which is exactly what I wanted

I have loved the fit on all the other Scarlet Darkness items I have bought. 4 blouses 2 skirts a corset and a waist cincher! I'm 5'7" and 200 lbs, purchased XXL each time. This barely surrounded the girls, and did so with a funny (not haha) wrinkle. Also has to have the laces about 6" apart, which it can do, but then I can't breathe or move, or it would be at risk of getting damaged. I'm not confident I could even go up a size, maybe if it went up two! (Not offered bigger).

I am very happy with this purchase. The quality of the garment and fit are great and I love the pockets. The fabric is soft, yet thick, not a cheap costume fabric.It does have an invisible side zipper that I did not discover until after I put it on and took it off about a half a dozen times to try it on with different tops.It did come very wrinkled and my steamer wouldn’t get all the wrinkles out so I had to press it, but I didn’t mind. Just know it will need pressed with an iron. I will definitely buy more from this company!!

Probably a little big for me, but always better bigger than smaller. And arrived earlier than expected which was a great bonus!
