My original chainsaw bar was bent which resulted in some issues cutting (obviously).Purchased to replace a bar and chain on a Ryobi 18" gas chainsaw.

No doubt, these are a good deal. They will last you a while, and they are sharp. But the odd thing is that nowhere on the package or included boxes (?) is there any listing of the size and specifications of the chain. So, I’m assuming I got the right ones, but how are they telling them apart if they have zero product information on them? If I find they are the wrong size when I install them, I’ll be back to report. But until then, decent chains and bad packaging.

So in the past I have always borrowed a chainsaw and never really had to worry about purchasing a new chain but instead would just sharpen them when needed. Well I finally bought a used saw that needed a lot of work including needing a new chain. Not knowing what brand of chain to trust I looked to the internet and found most people swear by the Oregon brand chains so that is what I got. Well that chain lasted all of about two hours of cutting before it was so dull it no longer wanted to cut at all. On top of that two emails to the company with simple questions about the chain were ignored. That chain never made contact with the ground or anything else other than the wood I was cutting. IDK, maybe it was a knock off chain but it certainly didn't live up to it's reputation for the brand and the customer service was non-existent.So at about this time I got a chance to get a 3 pack of these NEO-TEC chains to review. Given the price for these 3 chains were $3 cheaper than the single Oregon chain, I wasn't expecting much but thought, well it's 3 chains and they are cheaper, why not try them.I swapped out the chains and set out to finish the log my expensive chain failed on. Let me tell you, I was pretty darn impressed. The NEO-TEC chain actually cut better than the expensive one. I ended cutting up more wood with this chain than I did with the expensive one and when I was done the the NEO-TEC chain was still cutting like it was brand new.To make a long story short, these are really good chains that cut like a knife through butter and last. In my opinion, they are a better chain then the expensive brand chain I first got. I got these 3 chains for $15.99, that's $3 less then the expensive single Oregon chain. Don't take my word for it though, try them yourself. You will likely be just as impressed as I was.

Good product only reason for 3 stars is because the product came with the package totally cut open so the bar and chain were freely moving around the box when it arrived and not in a sealed package
