Update 17.12.2022I had a large trunk of hardwood which I winched up a trailer.I had previously hsarpened the chain but when I tried to cut this hardwood I though something was wrong with the chain. But it wasn't.It was just an extremely hard wood that made the chain go very hot and expand.I had to cool it down to come back to normal length. This chain and the oil for lubrication started to smoke so I had to take a break. The piece that I winched onto the trailer had moved and threw all its weight onto the bar and had it distorted. I though the chain and bar would be irreparable broken and bent. But after lifting the trunk, hammering wedges into the gap everything seemed to have escaped with a blue eye? I haven`t done more cutting since to see whether or not the sprocket bearing has made it Ok or not but so far I am absolutely impressed. Please be aware that this it NOT a STIHL bar and it is NOT maintenance free like the STIHLS are.You have to grease the bearing in the sprocket each time when you fill up the bar-oil and fuel.My bar-oil lasts me about 1/2 a fuel tank. For the maintenance of the bar sprocket bearing you have to order Oregon Grease Gun for Chainsaws (26365).I am running it on a Holzfforma G660 and tried it in hard and soft wood.It cuts exceptionally well. I hit some old wire that was laying around and some other things accidentally which made it cut not so good anymore. (Who would have thought ...)The file that comes with it works OK.I was doing it by hand but ordered a Granberg Bar-Mount Chain Saw Sharpener, Model# G-106B.This thing works excellent. Not for clumsy sausage-fingered people though.I also ordered a Husqvarna Depth Gauge Tool For .375 (3/8) Pitch Chainsaw Chain for it.The depth Gauge setting is very mild for this chain, even when new. You can go more on it if you've got the power. The advantage of the Husqvarna dept gauge is that it considers the condition of each individual following teeth, rather than doing it on an average.

Durability is good the bar is saying is a little bit thicker and it laughs a lot longer than the actual Stihl chain and bar

it was inexpensive and came with a new chain for the same price as a new Stihl bar. I am no professional logger, so this bar should suffice for me. If I can get at least 2 seasons out of it, I would be a happy guy. so far I have cut about 1.5 cords of juniper wood with it and it did pretty good. the only thing that might be an inconvenience to some, is that you have to grease the tip like you would with the older style bars. would I buy it again? well it just depends on how long it lasts. time will tell.

I have used this product in the past. Great replacement for a steel bar for my chainsaw. And also a great price.

We have a Stihl MS361. This bar is a perfect fit. We haven't used it enough to comment on durability.

This is a high quality bar and chain. I've used chainsaws for the past 40 years from northern California to British Columbia on various logging jobs and am particularly picky of the tools I buy and use . Grandfather said to me, if you buy the best, you won't be disappointed and this holds true for this Oregon bar and chain. Quick delivery and no issues with installing and the chain cuts way faster than the semi chisel I have been using.. recommend to all saw users who have actually used a saw to cut at least two trees down and up..

I put this on an older saw I restored and is seldom used. It may be at a total of 4 hours of use and the bearing in the nose came apart. It was not from over tensioning the chain as I always check and I’m the only one to have used this saw.

Seems to be of good weight, fit my 034 saw perfectly. Operated well on initial try.
